Additionally, the author was awarded for her book in the Bharatiya Sahitya Mahotsav 2022, along with the Tagore Commemorative Edition 2022 by NE8x.

To start with, I love the adorable book cover that depicts a fully blossomed Chrysanthemum. ‘Merak‘ is all about the emotional ecstasy and harmony towards the macrocosm. This book is a personal soother for me, I see the reflection of my thoughts through the ink of the author.

The composure of 21 fervent poetic verses will leave you in a different state of emotion. Titles and corresponding poesy are well drafted and presented to the readers. Vehemence like joy, oneness, compassion, absolution, and gaiety are those being offered in this book.

Many poems in this collection made me pause for a while to experience the mystical meaning and in-depth understanding of what the author wishes to convey to her readers. Kudos to Sucharita Parija for weaving her words filled with tranquility and also uplifted spiritual gratification and faith.

An assemblage of passionate rarity through a decent vocabulary and rhythmic writing is something to look at as a poetic reader. As this was the second book, the author’s ardent maturity and ardor are upheld penning down something to cherish in this writing.

“Let not the scars, Fade away with time,
They are the symbols, Of your brave fight”

“Listen to your voice, The inner and potent,
Rising from the core, Sprinkling stillness”

“I am a gift from God, The prayer of my parents,
A priceless pearl, Discovered in the ocean.”

Poetry enthusiasts, mystical readers, and true believers of universal emotions plus zealous readers who believe in the reawakening of the universe with cryptic emotional retaliation, this book is a must-read. I wouldn’t call this a one-time read; I term this book as a poetic serene destination for every soul in the process of finding your MERAK (Pleasure, Passion & Desire)
