About Author..!!
Dr. H. Kenneth Fisher, M.D., lives in Los Angeles with his partner Judith Pacht; their four children are scattered across the US. After medical school, residency, and subspecialty training, he became a board-certified specialist of sleep medicine, pulmonary diseases, and internal medicine. He was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA and was in private practice for forty years until his retirement. He now enjoys tennis and photography.

He first became engaged in the science of sleep when he treated several patients with severe sleep disorders. Later, he trained as a sleep specialist and participated in research involving sleep disturbances in chronic illness. He served the Los Angeles community in private practice as an internist and consultant in pulmonary diseases and sleep medicine for forty years. He has been chairman of the Environmental Health Committee of LA County Medical Association and was the founding treasurer of the Los Angeles Sleep Medicine Society.
Dr. Fisher enjoys foreign travel, photography, tennis, and computer technology. His partner Judith Pacht is a poet, and their family includes a molecular biologist, two lawyers, a website analyst, an architect, and a senior executive at a large tech company.

He dissected this book into 16 beautiful parts to discuss anything and everything about Sleep. Starting with the aspects of sleep and its gains, Dr. Fisher presented both common and unusual points about sleep, along with its pros and cons.

What could have improved..!!
For me, the only dismay while reading at the end of the book is that the author would have provided a profound use case of an ideal sleep schedule accompanied by his best practices, research, and schedules so that readers can blindly follow the method adhering to the elements that the author pointed out in the entire book.

I urge every individual to read this book and deep dive into the dealt concepts and to follow all the practices that Dr.Fisher recommended to improve your sleep cycles and to overcome the forfeiture that not only helps in enhancing your memory aspects but also lead a life free from common health ailments after all it is our life to live happier and affluent. I am not denying the fact that we humans apportioned one-third of our lives to savor Sleep.
