The book title ‘Inside the Heart of Hope’ itself has a clear message of no matter what we are undergoing specially bad days be bold and to have hopefulness and no matter what, if you hope and have faith in God rest will follow and gives strength to handle odd days . I am damn sure no other title fits better than this. The story revolves around the protagonist Rick who is suffering from Aortic Valve Stenosis disorder despite his disorder he fights back with the magic word called “HOPE”, further he encounters love in an abnormal situation
My Review:
One way or the other every living create in this world is fighting his/her own battles physically/mentally/emotionally. Rick is also the one of those persons who is fighting with Aortic disorder which demands multiple surgeries and tension free life. The plot or the storyline is so simple that how a person like Rick who live with a hope with an unusual love story. I personally feel sorry for Rick and I got inspired rather proud of his commitment for better tomorrow.
Rishabh’s writing style is simple,neat,clean and straightforward which made me to complete in a single go. Although the book is 120+ pages read few places I had a strong feeling of story drag, The book has a personal and emotional touch , to be honest I researched if there is any disease of this kind which Rick was suffering. Climax would have been spiced up as reaching the final part it made as predictable. Would have taken care to introduce the other characters in a better way as this was Rick prediction, rest characters were come and go kind.
Overall “Inside the Heart of Hope” is a decent one time read especially to the people who are undergoing or aware who are undergoing these kind of situations, Short and sweet story lineup (122+ pages) from Rishabh was at his best to portrait the emotional ups and downs, best bet with the flavours of optimism, transformation, hope, love & inspiration. I love the ending of this book breaks the usual romantic genre tag of indian authors.
